- Account Details: Mobile number, Full Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Marital Status.
- Cultural & Gotra Lineage: Gotra, Mama Gotra, Pada, Clan, Sub-caste, and Native Village.
- Verification Documents: Optional Government-issued IDs (Aadhaar / Voter ID) strictly used for Trust Score badge verification.
- Photos & Bio-Data: Candidate photographs, educational qualification, career details, and family background.
2. Photo & Contact Privacy Controls
We respect family sensitivity around candidate photographs and phone details:
- Photo Blur Feature: You can choose to keep your profile photos blurred until you explicitly accept a view request from a candidate family.
- Contact Masking: Phone numbers are hidden by default and only disclosed to mutually interested or verified candidates.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your data is exclusively used for matrimonial matching purposes:
- To generate Gotra-compliant partner recommendations.
- To allow export of customized bio-data PDF documents.
- To send match notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and WhatsApp follow-ups.
- To prevent fraudulent profiles through Trust Score verification algorithms.
4. Data Security & Storage
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party advertisers. Your data is stored securely using encrypted Supabase PostgreSQL databases and protected by industry-standard row-level security (RLS) policies.

You have full control over your data. You may request account deletion or data removal at any time directly through the app settings or by contacting our support team at banjarabiomatrimony@gmail.com.
